The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the deployment details for prospective corps members of the 2026 Batch A Stream 1.
On Monday, the NYSC confirmed via its official X page that call-up letters are now accessible online.
The NYSC stated that some corps members assigned to Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will be required to attend their orientation camps in neighbouring states.
Specifically, those assigned to Lagos may have their orientation in Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun, and Osun States, while those posted to the FCT may be camped in Kaduna, Niger, and Nasarawa States.
The NYSC clarified that this arrangement is necessary due to limited capacity in certain orientation camps.
Previously, the NYSC indicated that only about 40 percent of registered prospective corps members can be accommodated for the upcoming orientation exercise.
Additionally, the corps advised prospective members against traveling to their orientation camps at night.
The NYSC reminded prospective corps members to complete all necessary documentation before arriving at camp, emphasizing that forms must be printed and signed before registration.

In a separate announcement, the NYSC warned that corps members with discrepancies in their records will not be registered.
It added that anyone whose graduation date on their call-up letter does not match the date on their statement of results will be turned away.
Such individuals are encouraged to resolve any issues with their student affairs officers before reporting to camp.
The NYSC also provided specific instructions for married female prospective corps members.
“Those not assigned to their husband’s state of residence should report to the nearest orientation camp for registration.
“Married women seeking concessional posting are required to upload their marriage certificate, their husband’s identity card, and a letter confirming their husband’s place of residence,” the NYSC advised.
