The Nigerian Volleyball Federation on Saturday published the complete results from Day 5 of the Comptroller General of Customs Volleyball Premier League.
The results highlighted the performances of all the teams that competed on December 6 at the indoor hall of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
In an exciting final match of the day between the customs and the correctional service, the customs defeated the correctional service in a tightly contested match.
The scores were 25-21 in the first set, 25-18 in the second set, 18-25 in the third set, and 28-26 in the fourth set, resulting in a 3-1 victory after a dramatic battle.

Men’s Matches:
NAF Rockets defeated Kada Kings (3-0) with scores of 25-15, 27-25, and 25-16.
Kano Pillars lost to CNS Spikers (0-3) with scores of 22-25, 20-25, and 19-25.
NSCDC fell to UCEM (1-3) after scores of 13-25, 17-25, 26-24, and 17-25.
– Offa lost to Police (0-3) with scores of 23-25, 15-25, and 17-25.
COAS Spikers triumphed over Sunshine Spikers (3-2) in the longest match of Day 4, with scores of 25-19, 16-25, 23-25, 25-13, and 15-8.
Nigeria Customs Service defeated Nigeria Correctional Service (3-1) with scores of 25-21, 25-18, 18-25, and 28-26.

Women’s Matches:
Kada Emeralds won against Life Camp (3-1) with scores of 19-25, 25-21, 23-25, and 19-25.
NAF Rockets beat NSCDC (0-3) with scores of 23-25, 18-25, and 22-25 while Wikki Queens also defeated COAS Spikers (0-3) with scores of 15-25, 12-25, and 20-25.
CNS Spikers dominated Olalomi Royal Queens (3-0) with scores of 25-12, 25-11, and 25-17.
Benue Queens won against Anambra Queens (3-1) with scores of 20-25, 23-25, 25-23, and 24-26.
The ongoing Day 5 of the CGC Premier League has been put on hold following a request from the players’ union to hold a crucial meeting to discuss their challenges and successes and forward to the Federation’s body.
This marks a historic meeting at the CGC where players converge en mass to deliberate on critical issues that concern their welfare.
