Enugu Rangers on course to battle with Remo Stars for the number 3 spot on the league table, we slug it out with Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Saturday.
Presently in the fourth strata of the Nigeria Premier Football League’s table after 17 features this season, Enugu Rangers have a good scoring attack and a tight defence with 17 goals and have conceded only 7 goals in return.
However, Akwa United, two steps from Enugu Rangers on the NPFL table on the sixth position with a point difference between both teams, will be prepared to see off Enugu Rangers in the tie, The Trumpet gathered.

In their last five NPFL matches, Akwa United was able to muster ten points in a maximum of 15-point games with a little shaky defence which the Head coach Kennedy Boboye will hope to strengthen against Ossy Martins and Christian Nnaji that are Enugu Rangers’ top scorers.
The visitors last won an away game on January 21 when they defeated Heartland of Owerri 3-0 and have struggled with a series of draws after that encounter.
