In a bid to enhance police welfare and extend comprehensive insurance services to the public, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has officially unveiled its NPF Insurance Company Ltd. According to the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the official inauguration will take place on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Peacekeeping Hall, Force Headquarters, Abuja. The event promises to be a high-profile affair, with key dignitaries including the Honourable Minister of Police Affairs, His Excellency Senator Ibrahim Gaidam; Executive Governors from all 36 states; the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr. Nyesom Wike, Distinguished Senators and Members of the House of Representatives, and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission, DIG Hashimu Argungu (Rtd.), among others.
NPF Insurance Co. Ltd, under the visionary leadership of the 22nd Indigenous Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, has been designed to address the unique risks faced by police officers in the line of duty.
