One year after the tragic death of Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, his widow, Jennifer Odonwodo, has shared a moving tribute that has touched hearts across social media.
Taking to Instagram, Jennifer posted a touching family photo featuring herself, their sons, and a framed portrait of the late actor. In her heartfelt message, she poured out her grief, recalling the pain of losing a husband, a father, and a hero to many.
“Not a day goes by without thinking of you,” she wrote. “Your love still surrounds us, and in our quiet moments, we feel you near.”

Jennifer revealed how difficult the past year has been, especially trying to stay strong for their children. She recounted how the boys often ask about their father’s unfulfilled promises—like enrolling them in a football academy and watching their first matches together. Their youngest son, fondly called J Papa, still waits eagerly for the toy car Junior Pope had promised him.
Despite the sorrow, Jennifer expressed immense gratitude to friends, fans, and loved ones who have continued to support her family through the grief. Her post ended with a solemn vow: “Though you’re no longer here with us, your legacy lives on in our hearts. Rest in peace, my love, until we meet again.”
