Nollywood star Rita Edochie has taken a firm stance against women who willingly choose to be second wives.

In a video shared on her Instagram page on Monday, she strongly criticized the act of polygamy, stating that it is selfish and destructive to families.
Edochie firmly believes that women who accept the role of a second wife are not motivated by love or destiny, but rather by greed.

She goes on to explain that being a second wife is not a position of honor, but rather a path filled with regret, built on the tears and broken home of another woman.
In her opinion, a second wife is not to be celebrated, but rather seen as a thief who has stolen another woman’s home and caused pain and suffering.
