The presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, commonly known as Winners Chapel, David Oyedepo, has stated that no sum of money, not even $1 billion, would convince him to engage in partisan politics.
He made the remark while speaking to congregants during the impartation service at the church’s annual event, Shiloh 2025.
Oyedepo took the opportunity to encourage church members to stay focused on their divine mission, instead of straying into unrelated pursuits.
Emphasizing his point, Oyedepo declared that political involvement does not fit with his life’s mission.
“Partisan politics is not part of my calling. Even if you offered me $1 billion to enter politics, I wouldn’t do it, as it goes against my path,” he stated.

He also recalled previous warnings he had given to the church, asking, “in 2015, I warned the church that trouble was coming. Did trouble not come?”
Oyedepo expressed that the world is in dire need of divine solutions to escalating crises.
Citing Romans 8:19, he noted that “the world is groaning in darkness” and is eagerly awaiting “the true manifestations of the children of God.”
He asserted that believers who remain dedicated to their God-given purposes will be equipped to address both national and global issues.
“The army of God is about to rise to provide solutions to national crises, similar to Joseph and Daniel. We are entering a time of unprecedented revelations,” he said.
