Borussia Dortmund U19 defender Pharell Nnamdi Collins sealed the club’s win against Alemannia Aachen U19 in round 9 of A-Junioren Bundesliga West over the weekend.
Nnamdi, who plays right-back in the German club, got his name on the scoresheet in the 81st minute as they trounced Alemannia Aachen U19 5-0 in a flawless victory.
Nnamdi, with six caps representing Germany in the U15, U16, and U17 tournaments scoring two international goals in the process, started his early football career in the Academy of Fortuna Düsseldorf.
Though the youngster has played for German youths’ teams on national assignments, he still has the option to join the Nigeria Super Eagles to represent his country of origin in the senior men’s football tournaments.
Nnamdi, 18, stole the spotlight at the age of 16 and was invited to play for the Germany U19 national team.

However, Chelsea wanted to snap up the young defender with a £2,000,000 bid but the player preferred to renew his contract with Borussia Dortmund in May 2021.
The defender, after the massive win, will be looking up to their next match in the UEFA youth league – playoffs with Manchester United U19 on Tuesday, 1 March, to continue the club’s campaign for the season.
