By afternoon, light to moderate rain is expected across much of this region.

On Wednesday, the northern region may enjoy some sunshine, but there will still be a chance of light thunderstorms and rain in Sokoto and Zamfara.

In the afternoon and evening, more thunderstorms with moderate rain are anticipated in Borno, Adamawa, Taraba, Kaduna, Zamfara, Kebbi, and Sokoto.

For the central region, the forecast shows cloudy skies and light rain likely in the FCT, Kogi, Kwara, and Niger states on Wednesday morning, with thunderstorms bringing moderate rain in the afternoon over Benue, Kwara, Kogi, and Niger.

The southern region will also be cloudy, with moderate rain expected later in the day.
