The founder of Solid Rock Kingdom Church Apostle Dr John Okoriko has said that mineral resources in Nigeria are enough to keep Nigerians in affluence if the resources are managed judiciously for the benefit of the people.
He therefore charged President Bola Tinubu to manage the resources of the nation well for the well-being of Nigerians instead of allowing them to wallop in poverty amid plenty.
Speaking in Uyo on Sunday during the monthly Interactive Service on the theme ” God Blames Man, Man Blames Spirits Over Wickedness in the World: Who is Right”? Okoriko said God has blessed Nigeria such that every person is supposed to live in riches, not poverty as is the case in the country today.
Okoriko explained that all evils such as poor economy, food crisis, insecurity, banditry and hardship Nigerians are facing today are caused by man not God as widely speculated.
” The problems we are facing in this country are man- made not from God who has given us enough resources. God has blessed us with abundant, especially in Akwa Ibom state.
“Wickedness does not come from God but man.
He identified porous political leadership by politicians as the cause of hunger and poor economy and appealed to the political class to fashion out means to redeem the economy in the interest of the masses.

He said God is angry over these evils because we elected leaders in the hope that they will help the poor to rebuild the economy.
” Tinubu is the president of Nigeria and he will answer all questions about hunger, insecurity and poor economy.
“Why do you we talk about fuel subsidy in Tinubu’s time? If we experience hardship, it is the action of our leaders and those who supported him
” Every nation, family, and church is regulated by the highest authority there. So whatever happens, the president is responsible, not evil spirit.
” What we are going through in the country is man-made. Nigeria is the richest country in the world in terms of mineral resources. There is no need for anybody among us to be poor.
” No need for anybody from Akwa Ibom state to roam the street looking for job. God has blessed Akwa Ibom more than any other state in Nigeria. How we manage these resources determines what happens to us. Not evil spirits “he said.
