The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its operations in Kwara State, executing a series of coordinated air missions under Operation Fansan Yamma Sector 3. The operations, carried out across Kakihun, Oke-Ode, Babanla, and surrounding areas, were aimed at neutralizing hostile elements and safeguarding local communities.
According to a statement released by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the missions combined reconnaissance flights, close air support, and precision strikes. Hostile groups spotted east of Babanla were decisively engaged, while surveillance aircraft covered key settlements and military positions to gather critical intelligence for ground forces.
