The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has graduated 71 officers from the Immigration Command and Staff College (ICSC) in Sokoto. Among the graduates, two officers stood out for their exemplary academic performance and were specially honoured during the ceremony.
The event, which drew a high-profile audience, was attended by representatives of the Governor of Sokoto State, the Sultan of Sokoto, and senior officials from various sister security agencies. These dignitaries lauded the graduates for their hard work and commended the NIS for its continuous contribution to strengthening national development through human capital investment.
Representing the Comptroller-General of Immigration, KN Nandap (PCC, MMIS, FSMN), was Assistant Comptroller General EL Anugwa, who serves as Zone A Coordinator and holds several qualifications, including PSC, PCC, FSI, and FCNA. In her address, she conveyed the Comptroller-General’s congratulations to the graduating officers, emphasizing the critical role of integrity and professionalism as they take on new responsibilities in service to the nation.
