Nigeria Customs Service Volleyball Club delivered an impressive performance to defeat Ghana Police 3–0 and secure the bronze medal in the women’s category of the 2026 CAVB Zone 3 Club Championship in Ghana.
The Nigerian side dominated the encounter against Ghana Police Volleyball Club, winning in straight sets 25–21, 25–7, and 25–20 to seal third place in the regional championship.
Nigeria Customs Service Volleyball Club showed resilience and tactical superiority throughout the match.
The first set was competitive, with both teams trading points before Nigeria Customs pulled ahead late to win 25–21.
In the second set, the Nigerian team completely overwhelmed their opponents with powerful serves and solid blocking, cruising to a commanding 25–7 victory.
The third set saw Ghana Police attempt a comeback, but Nigeria Customs maintained control to close the match 25–20 and secure the bronze medal.
The victory marked a strong finish for the Nigerian representatives in the tournament, highlighting their growing influence in regional women’s volleyball.
Elsewhere in the competition, Kalibi Volleyball Club took a significant lead in their match against Vipers Volleyball Club.

Kalibi VC dominated the opening stages, winning the first two sets 25–15 and 25–16, putting them 2–0 ahead and within touching distance of victory.
The African Volleyball Confederation Zone 3 championship continues to showcase top club sides from West Africa, providing a competitive platform for teams from countries including Nigeria and Ghana to battle for regional supremacy.
Nigeria Customs’ bronze-medal triumph underscores the progress of Nigerian women’s volleyball and reinforces the country’s strong presence in the Zone 3 competition.
