The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested popular Lagos socialite and nightlife promoter, Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, popularly known as Pretty Mike, alongside reality TV star Tuoyo and more than 100 other partygoers, during a late-night raid on his Victoria Island nightclub.
According to a statement issued by NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi, the operation took place at Proxy Nightclub, located at 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025. The agency said the raid followed credible intelligence suggesting that a large-scale drug party was underway at the venue.
“NDLEA operatives, who had been on surveillance since around 11 p.m. on Saturday, disrupted the event at about 3 a.m. Sunday in line with our Standard Operating Procedures,” Babafemi confirmed.

The statement revealed that several cartons of illicit substances, including Loud, a strong variant of cannabis, and canisters of laughing gas, were recovered from both the club’s storage area and individual guests.
Among those arrested was former Big Brother Naija housemate Tuoyo, who was reportedly part of the attendees at the party. The agency said all suspects, including Pretty Mike, have been taken into custody for screening and further interrogation.
The NDLEA spokesperson reiterated the agency’s commitment to curbing drug abuse in entertainment hubs, warning that the agency will continue to target clubs and lounges where narcotics are used or distributed under the guise of social gatherings.
The raid has since sparked widespread reactions across social media, with Nigerians expressing shock over the involvement of high-profile figures in what authorities described as a “drug-fueled party.”
This development comes amid NDLEA’s intensified clampdown on drug-related activities within Lagos nightlife circles, as the agency seeks to dismantle networks promoting narcotics use among young people and celebrities.
