The federal government is set to hold the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting on Monday to enhance Nigeria’s economic coordination and promote inclusive growth throughout the states.

Senior Special Assistant to the president on Media and Communications in the office of the Vice President, Stanley Nkwocha, announced this in a statement on Sunday.

Nkwocha mentioned that governors from all the 36 states and key national stakeholders will participate in the conference, scheduled for February 9 to 10 at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, who chairs the NEC, will lead the two-day summit, which will focus on discussions regarding fiscal coordination, investment mobilization, and collaborative development strategies between federal and state governments.

Nkwocha also noted that President Bola Tinubu will be the special guest of honor, with other senior government officials, development partners, and private sector leaders expected to attend.
