The management of Naija LiveTV has announced the appointment of Chris Odi as its managing editor and editor-in-chief.
The media organisation also disclosed plans to expand its broadcast reach by streaming its television content via satellite, in collaboration with the Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT).
Odi, a graduate of English Language from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, also holds a diploma in Journalism from the Times Journalism Institute.
Odi is a veteran journalist with over 28 years of professional experience.
He began his career as a teacher of English Language and literature before transferring his service to the Bayelsa State Ministry of Information, where he rose through the ranks and retired as a director.

He hails from Isampou community in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Established in 2017, Naija LiveTV is a fast-growing media and communications outfit based in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
The organisation currently operates from a newly equipped office featuring a state-of-the-art live television studio, a podcast production section, and a live broadcast studio, with plans underway for the launch of Naija Live Radio.
