The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) alongside Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) delivered impressive performances on the second day of the Comptroller General of Customs Volleyball Championship Phase Two in Abuja.
The tournament, featuring approximately 21 teams in both men’s and women’s categories, was highlighted by outstanding displays from the NAF women’s team and the NCS men’s team, raising hopes for their success in the ongoing competition.
In the women’s division, NAF faced Wikki Queens, winning decisively with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, and 25-11, resulting in a 3-0 victory.

The NCS men’s team also triumphed over Offa VC with a 3-0 win, securing the first set at 27-25, followed by 25-15 and 25-15 in the subsequent sets.
Other notable match results included the women’s match where Benue Queens fell to Life Camp in a close contest, ending 2-3 with set scores of 27-25, 25-19, 17-25, 25-27, and 15-17.
Additionally, the NCS women’s team defeated Kada Emeralds 3-0, with set scores of 25-15, 25-6, and 25-16.

The COAS Spikers also showcased their skill by beating Olalomi Spikers 3-0, with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, and 25-16.
In a thrilling match, the Nigeria Correctional Service men’s team overcame UCEM with a score of 3-1, winning the first two sets 25-21, 25-21, losing the third set 21-25, and clinching the fourth set 26-24.
The NSCDC men’s team dominated the Sunshine Spikers, winning 3-0 with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, and 25-19, while the Kano Pillars also secured a 3-0 victory against the Nigeria Police Force with scores of 25-16, 29-27, and 25-21.
In a closely contested men’s match, the COAS Spikers narrowly defeated the NAF Rockets 3-1, with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-21, and 25-22.
The NCS men’s team also achieved a 3-0 victory over Offa VC, winning the sets 27-25, 25-15, and 25-15. Meanwhile, the CNS Spikers dominated Anambra, winning 3-0 with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, and 25-16.
The opening match of Day 2 featured the men CNS Spikers against Kada Kings, where CNS secured a 3-0 victory with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, and 25-13, setting the stage for the day’s subsequent matches.
