Former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, has spoken out against fake photos that show him supposedly meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump and the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), MC Oluomo
In a statement made public this morning, September 24, Obi clarified that the photos are not real and have been altered.
He emphasized that he has not met Trump recently and has also not had any meeting with MC Oluomo.
He stated: “I’m aware that some photos are being shared online that wrongly claim I met with various individuals.
“One of these images suggests that I was with Donald Trump, along with a false statement that he complimented me. Another picture claims to show me with MC Oluomo in his office.
“I want to be very clear: both pictures are fake and the stories that go along with them are completely untrue.
“I have not met Mr. Trump recently, nor have I met with MC Oluomo.
“These kinds of fabrications show how serious the issue of fake news and misleading information is in our society.
