Super Eagles forward, Moses Simon, will be ready to tackle FC Nantes over their refusal to accept OGC Nice’s €10m offer, The Trumpet gathered.
Simon according to reports from France, has already agreed verbally to a contract with Les Aiglons where he was provided with an option for a better salary at Allianz Riviera.
The 27-year-old is not happy over the news and would not want the opportunity to slip away from his fingers; this may instigate him to confront the management of Canaries.
Although Moses signed a four-year deal with the French Ligue 1 club after his loan move from Spanish Levante that included a buyout option expired in 2019, he has submitted an exit form to the club despite having two years left at Stade de la Beaujoire according to Nantes President, Waldemar Kita in a press conference recently.
The Aiglons are preparing a second bid for the Super Eagle who netted 6 times in 30 appearances while recording 8 assists for Nantes in Ligue 1 last season.
With the development set to take place, an insider in the deal, Emmanuel Merceron said that Moses will enter a showdown with Nantes should they reject the second offer from OGC Nice whom he already has a contractual
agreement.
“If FC Nantes refuse the 2nd offer to come from the OGC Nice, Moses Simon would be ready to go to the showdown. The player agrees contractually with Nice,” Merceron said.

Meanwhile, Leeds United are set to battle OGC Nice for the Nigerian forward according to a recent report from Foot Mercato.
Leeds United in negotiation with various clubs for highly sought Brazilian forward Raphinha has turned towards Simon as a possible replacement.
The Premier League club do not want to take last season’s route and are prepared to build their squad to avoid hovering around the drop zone of the 2022-23 season.
More so, Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips are reportedly headed towards Chelsea and Manchester City respectively, with the latter already bound to Etihad Stadium.
With this impending departure of the duo, Leeds’ head coach, Jesse Marsch, will try to convince Moses, who would prefer to remain in France, with a mouthwatering offer to lure him to England.
