The 2024 CAF Awards, celebrating African football will take place at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco.
Set for today the event will honour Africa’s footballing greats of the past year, with two distinguished presenters, Kate Scott and Jalal Bouzrara at the helm.
This was announced in a press release on the CAF website, titled: “Kate Scott and Jalal Bouzrara to present 2024 CAF Awards.”
Renowned for her dynamic presence in sports broadcasting, Kate Scott has built an impressive portfolio spanning CNN, SkySports and now CBS Sports.
Fluent in four languages, Scott has hosted prestigious global events such as the FIFA Ballon d’Or and the Laureus World Sports Awards.
Her recent role on CBS Sports’ critically acclaimed UEFA Champions League coverage has further cemented her reputation as a world-class presenter.
Sharing her excitement about hosting the CAF awards, Scott remarked, “it will be a privilege to be on stage and in the room alongside some of the most influential names in football. African football gives the global game soul.

“The talent born there is immense and the culturally diverse way in which it is lived from nation to nation makes football one of the heartbeats of the global game.”
Jalal Bouzrara, a veteran Moroccan journalist with over three decades of experience, will co-host the evening.
Known for his work in radio and television, Bouzrara has produced acclaimed sports programmes such as L’Match and L’Club. This will be his second time hosting the CAF Awards, having co-hosted the 2022 edition in Rabat.
Bouzrara expressed his pride in being part of the event, stating “this is the second time I have had the honour and privilege of hosting this magnificent CAF awards ceremony.
