MonieWorld, a digital financial service from Moniepoint Incoporated has announced a collaboration with actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, who will serve as its brand ambassador to promote cross-border transactions for Nigerians living around the world.

The platform allows users to transfer money to Nigeria, assist family members, pay bills, and manage finances across borders.

It is tailored to support those earning income overseas while fulfilling financial obligations back home.

The service utilizes the same infrastructure as Moniepoint in Nigeria, which handles transactions for individuals, small businesses, and large corporations.

Funke Akindele has established a successful career in film and television, connecting audiences in Nigeria and the diaspora.

She has premiered films in the UK, including ‘Behind The Scenes,’ which earned £93,094 at the box office in the UK and Ireland, showing in various Odeon cinemas across cities like Greenwich, Streatham, and Birmingham.

MonieWorld aims to reach similar markets, facilitating easier and more reliable financial transactions between countries.

The company emphasized that the partnership will showcase how financial services can assist with everyday needs such as family support, education, healthcare, and business operations across borders.

The CEO of MonieWorld, Ravi Jakhodia, commented on the partnership, stating that “the company was created for individuals managing financial responsibilities in multiple countries.”
