UEFA Champion League victors Real Madrid have continued to scoop extensively for players to complement their squad for next season with AS Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni their latest catch.
Real Madrid after intensive deliberation with the French club to sign the player, have agreed to six years contract that will see the youngster remain at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2028. Tchouameni, who attracted interest from European top clubs with Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain among the lot, will be presented officially by Los Blancos after completing medical on Tuesday.
A statement by Real Madrid to announce the breakthrough, said, “Real Madrid CF and AS Monaco have agreed on the transfer of the player Aurelien Tchouameni, who will be linked to the club for the next six seasons.
“Next Tuesday, June 14, at 12:00 at Real Madrid City, the presentation ceremony for Aurelien Tchouameni as a new Real Madrid player will take place after the corresponding medical examination.

“Aurelien Tchouameni will then appear before the media,” the Spanish club added. Meanwhile, former Monaco and Granada coach Roberto Moreno has described the 22-year-old French international as a talented player who has established himself in the midfield.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Moreno said, “They are talking €80m (£68.3m) so I will be waiting for a thankyou message. “He has become one of the best midfielders in France. “He has become the player we expected,” the former Spain head coach exemplified.
Tchouameni becomes the second signing for Real Madrid following Antonio Rudiger, who joined the club on a free transfer, to sign a four year deal.
