Manchester United has finalized an agreement with Wolves for the signing of Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha.
This 26-year-old player is poised to be United’s inaugural signing of the summer after the team triggered a £62.5m buyout clause in Cunha’s contract with Wolves.
The ex-Atletico Madrid attacker will ink a five-year contract at Old Trafford, with an option to extend for an additional year.

Cunha visited Manchester over the past weekend to undergo a medical examination with the team.
The agreement is contingent on visa validation and registration processes, and it is anticipated to be finalized upon Cunha’s return from his international obligations with Brazil later this month.
Since making a permanent switch to Wolves in 2023, the forward has netted 31 goals in 76 matches.
