United will gladly take a point in those circumstances – and they could have even won it.
Everton had led 2-0 at the break via goals from Beto and Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Trailing 2-0 with just under 20 minutes to go, United staged a brilliant comeback via terrific goals from Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte.

The Toffees thought they were going to get the opportunity to secure all three points deep into added time, when Ashley Young was sent tumbling inside the box under a challenge from Matthijs de Ligt.
However, despite a VAR check and an on-field review, referee Andy Madley overturned his initial decision, denying the home side a penalty.
