A tragic incident unfolded in Ughoton community in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, when a man, identified as Glory Orhemuogbo, inadvertently killed his four-year-old daughter while meting out disciplinary measures on her.
It was gathered that Mr. Orhemuogbo slammed the girl’s head on the floor, resulting in the victim going into coma.
The child was reportedly rushed to a hospital six hours after the incident.
Due to the severity of the injury, doctors in the hospital referred her to the Central Hospital, Warri, where she was pronounced dead.

In a disturbing turn of events, the remains of the four-year-old girl was said to have been surreptitiously buried without the mother’s knowledge and consent, or that of any other family member.
Currenly, Mr. Orhemuogbo is on the run, with law enforcement agents, including police and vigilante groups in a manhunt for him.
The child’s mother, Ms Divine, devastated by the loss of her daughter, has urged the security agents to assist in apprehending Mr. Orhemuogbo to face justice.
