Former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has described the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a formidable coalition poised to challenge and unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at all levels of governance in Nigeria.
Malami made this known in a statement issued by his media aide, Bello Doka, while expressing appreciation to supporters in Kebbi State following his recent return to the state.
In the statement, the former minister said he remains resolute and determined to reposition Kebbi State through the democratic process, noting that he received overwhelming support from residents despite what he described as sustained political persecution.
He reaffirmed his loyalty to the ADC and its leadership in Kebbi State, stating that the party provides the platform through which he intends to pursue his political ambition.
“My homecoming is not ordinary but a clear message of an uncompromising quest for truth and rescue. In ADC, we have a formidable coalition capable of rescuing Nigeria and our state. I will remain undeterred and strong,” he said.

Malami added that the struggle for fair and just governance requires courage and persistence, stressing that Nigeria’s challenges can be addressed through collective political will.
“We believe in our country and in the strength of our support base. Together, we can rescue our people with no retreat and no surrender,” he stated.
He also expressed gratitude to political groups and key stakeholders for their support and encouragement, describing it as a source of strength ahead of future political engagements.
Observers say Malami’s remarks signal a renewed political push in Kebbi State, as opposition forces continue to realign ahead of forthcoming elections.
