Erstwhile vice chairman of Isoko South Local Government Council Chief Raphael Okaruefe alongside Comrade Jabin Innocent and their teeming supporters on Thursday, 3rd, October 2024 dump the All Progressive Congress (APC) to return back to the People’s Democratic amidst jubilation of party faithfuls in Enhwe/Okpolo ward 09.
It will be recalled that Chief Raphael Okaruefe left for the All Progressive Congress (APC) prior to the general election as a result of irreconcilable differences with the party chieftains.
The chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Isoko South Local Government Area, Mr. Victor Ekelega who was on ground to receive Chief Raphael Okaruefe said that the coming back of Chief Okaruefe to the PDP is an asset to the party in Enhwe/Okpolo ward 09, the local government and the state.
He noted that he will report back to the state that in ward 09 the leaders, the youths and women are working in harmony for the party.

In a brief remark the chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Enhwe/Okpolo ward 09 Comrade Favour Ugbosu said that two things brought us here today, the unit’s executive will be inaugurated today.
Secondly, we are here today to welcome Chief Raphael Okaruefe back to the party, sometimes we must disagree to agree. Today, Chief Raphael Okaruefe has decided to come back to join the party (PDP) from APC.
He affirmed that the party is welcoming them back today with open hands.
Responding, Chief Raphael Okaruefe noted that he is back to the party, that he only went on sabbatical.
“I am back with my supporters with my artillery, we have never failed the People’s Democratic Party and this time around we will not fail. We will work assiduously to ensure the success of the party in Enhwe/Okpolo ward 09, Isoko South Local Government Area and the State”.
He also urged the leaders of the party to do the needful and give what is due to them that are coming back to the PDP.
Responding, one of the stalwarts of the party in the ward Chief Joel Urhobo said that they were sad when Chief Raphael Okaruefe and his supporters left the party to join APC. But we are grateful that he is back to the party in the ward today.
He noted his coming back to the party is a sign of good things to come in the ward.
