The Isoko North Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council met with Ward Chairmen and Campaign Coordinators with a charge to ensure victory for the party in the July 13 Local Government Council elections in the state.
The meeting which was held at the Emevor country home of the Campaign Chairman, Dr Paul Oweh, the party said it was expedient for the Ward Coordinators to work assiduously with other leaders and stakeholders in the Ward to market the party’s chairmanship candidate, Prince Godwin Ogorugba and his running mate, Dr Evelyn Aluta at the grassroots.
Addressing the ward coordinators, Dr Oweh said the party was desirous to deliver the party’s candidates including all the ward councillors and charged the coordinators to market the candidates to the electorates.
On his part, Director-General of the Campaign Council and erstwhile two-term Chairman of the Council, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor said the party has done lots of projects in the Council area to ensure victory for the party.

Egbabor added that the candidates were grassroot politicians who had over the years contributed immensely to the growth and development of the party in the area.
He tasked the Coordinators to deliver the candidates in all the units of the wards, assuring that the party’s candidate would work in line with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda for the people of Isoko North.
Also, present at the meeting was the Chairmanship Candidate of the party, Elder Godwin Ogorugba, Vice Chairman of the Campaign Council and Commissioner for Health, Dr Joseph Onojaeme, DG of the Campaign Council, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, Deputy DG, Hon. Jonathan Umukoro, Secretary, Chief Mike Ogwah, Ward Chairmen and the 13 ward coordinators of the campaign council.
