Jandor announced his departure during a press briefing at Liberty Place, Ikeja, on Monday, citing widespread indiscipline, and anti-party activities as key reasons for his decision.
He lamented that these issues had become a norm within the Lagos PDP, making it difficult to remain in the party.

Flanked by a large group of supporters, Jandor specifically pointed fingers at some of the party’s top leaders, including former Deputy National Chairman, Chief Olabode George, accusing them of working against the PDP’s success in the 2023 elections.
“We will consult widely with everybody, and then take the decision to collapse our structure to another platform. What is majority on the ground now is that we have left the Peoples Democratic Party,” he declared.
His resignation adds to the growing crisis within the Lagos PDP, which has been grappling with internal conflicts, leadership tussles, and allegations of misconduct among key figures.
