Lafarge Africa Plc has announced the commencement of applications for its 2025/2026 Graduate Trainee Programme, offering young professionals an opportunity to build a career in one of Nigeria’s leading industrial firms. The deadline for submission is October 13, 2025.
The Lafarge Graduate Trainee Programme is structured to groom the next generation of leaders in both technical and business functions. The company is seeking driven, innovative, and tech-savvy graduates who are eager to learn, gain practical experience, and thrive in a performance-focused environment.
Eligible applicants must have graduated no earlier than January 2023, with at least a Second-Class degree or its equivalent in disciplines such as Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Candidates should also be proficient with digital tools, data analysis, and remote collaboration platforms. Applicants with up to two years of work experience, or exposure to a plant environment, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Active involvement in student organizations, volunteer projects, or internships will be considered an added advantage.

The programme features a comprehensive 12-month structure designed to provide full immersion into Lafarge’s operations. It begins with a one-month induction focused on safety, culture, and corporate orientation, followed by a four-month rotation across Manufacturing, Commercial, Logistics, Procurement, and other key business areas. The final seven months are dedicated to deep specialization, where trainees take on real projects with measurable outcomes.
Each trainee will also receive mentorship from seasoned industry experts, with access to structured learning, on-the-job training, and career development opportunities within Lafarge’s multinational network.
