Renowned Afrobeat artist, Davido has received royal recognition from King Charles, who included him among his favorite artists in the newly unveiled playlist, “King’s Music Room,” in honour of the Commonwealth Day 2025.
The playlist features songs that bring joy to the king, and will be available on Apple Music.
In explaining his decision to share this playlist, King Charles expressed his deep appreciation for music throughout his life, describing it as a source of happy memories, confidence during sad times, and a means to transport listeners to distant places.
