A young boy suspected to be from one of the South West states has been rescued in Agbor, Delta State, after he was reportedly kidnapped while on an errand for his parents.
The boy was found in the company of a woman allegedly attempting to sell him at Owanta Aliosimi.
The rescued boy is now in police custody, along with the suspect while the police is making concerted efforts to reunite him with his parents.

The police called on anyone who can identify the boy or knows his family’s whereabouts to come forward to assist the police with information.
“We are committed to ensuring that this child returns safely to his family,” the Delta State Police Command’s spokesperson, DSP Edafe said.
Edafe said that the identity of the boy’s family remains unknown, as he has failed to provide sufficient details to help the authorities locate them, adding that they are exploring various channels to reach out to communities in the South West states to locate his relatives.
