Olorogun Festus Keyamo SAN has appealed to the people of Delta State to remain calm and optimistic as the recent judgments by the National and State House of Assembly Tribunal will be upturned.
Keyamo, who is the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, gave the assurances recently to douse the tension caused by the judgments against Delta South and Delta Central senators, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas and Senator Ede Dafinone respectively in the state.
In his words, “Dear Progressives, don’t be dismay. Ede Dafinone, Joel Thomas Onowakpo will triumph at appeal. Mandate freely given to them by Deltans will be affirmed,” the Senior Advocate of Nigeria assured.

Recall that the tribunal in their judgment, declaring the election that handed Senator Joel-Onowakpo overwhelming victory for Delta South senatorial district inconclusive, ordered a rerun in Warri South Local Government Area.
Similarly, the tribunal also declared that of Senator Dafinone inconclusive and ordered supplementary elections in several units in Central senatorial District.
However, both senators are upbeat and have headed to the appellate court to uphold their mandates.
