Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has officially launched the All Progressives Congress (APC) digital membership registration exercise in Wukari Local Government Area. The ceremony took place on Thursday at the Wukari council headquarters.
Governor Kefas said the e-registration initiative is aimed at ensuring a credible, transparent, and verifiable membership system, giving all party members equal opportunities.
He explained that the exercise involves the electronic capture of members’ details, formally recognizing them as bona fide APC members. Participation in the digital registration, the governor emphasized, is mandatory, and no member would be revalidated without completing the process.
Highlighting the critical role of women in politics, Kefas urged female members to actively engage in the registration, describing them as the backbone and mobilizers of the party. He also reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting women’s involvement in political and party activities.
