Kebbi United Football club has been censured for gross misconduct by the Nigeria National League (NNL) after an incident against the Green Beret Football Club on MatchDay three.
The visitors who were fined N1,000,000 for breaching the rule book by the NNL will also forfeit the match in favour of the Green Beret.
Kebbi United on February 26 at the Dogarawa Township Stadium, Zaria, Kaduna State, boycotted the game in the 81st minute in protest of an alleged bias.

According to the NNL, the action taken by Kebbi United Football Club which contravenes the league’s regulations resulted in three points being awarded to the host team with three goals inclusive.
However, the NNL has granted forty-eight hours of leverage to Kebbi United Football Club to appeal the decision with the Disciplinary Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
More so, NNL has advised the Green Beret Football Club and Kaduna FA to ensure henceforth a peaceful atmosphere is maintained in the Dogarawa Township Stadium.
Meanwhile, a four-match ban was handed to Haliru Umar, the assistant coach of Kebbi United for assaulting Awoniyi S, the first assistant referee.
