Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi state, on Monday swore in Alhaji Yakubu Bala (Tafidan Yauri), as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
Others also observed to have been swore in by the Governor, are the Chief of Staff to the state government, Barrister Attahiru Macido and the Head of Service, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba-Bena.
Held at Government House Birnin Kebbi, the Governor tasked political appointees on the need for them to focus attention on measures that would facilitate the fulfilment of his campaign promises.

Urging them to as a matter of urgency swing into action, his administration, as made known by him, would do justice to all people of the State irrespective of their religious, tribes and political differences.
While insisting that their appointment was based on merit, the governor assured that he would not relent in appointing credible personalities that would add value to his administration.
He also reiterated his readiness to flush-out any appointee that would not add value to his administration.
