The Kano State Civil Service Commission has approved the promotion of 823 civil servants to new grade levels.
The commission’s Director of Public Enlightenment, Musbahu Yakasai, said the promotions was carried out for the months of January (522), February (207) and March (52), which were announced by the commission’s Chairperson, Hajiya Ladidi Garko.
He also noted that, 2, 715 change of cadres were treated in the months under review, including 4,488 retirement notifications, 904 deployments and 24 confirmation of appointments.

Also during the period, one disciplinary case was presented and duly addressed by the commission, underscoring the commission’s commitment to upholding discipline and professionalism within the state’s workforce.
He however, reiterated the commission commitments to fostering a motivated and result-driven workforce by ensuring that promotions, and cadre conversations are conducted in a timely and transparent manner, in accordance with service rules and regulations.
