This was confirmed on Tuesday in a statement by the Executive Chairman of the agency, Malam Salihu Abubakar, who emphasized the importance of meticulous planning in ensuring a successful pilgrimage.
According to him, UMZA Airline has been designated as the official carrier for this year’s pilgrimage, tasked with facilitating the safe transportation of the pilgrims.
Prior to their departure, all selected pilgrims will be required to undergo a thorough medical screening at the Hajj Transit Camp located in Mando.
The agency added that the screenings are crucial to ensure the health and well-being of the pilgrims, and to comply with international health regulations designed to safeguard all attendees.
