Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, better known as K1 De Ultimate, a famous Fuji music star, has publicly apologized following an incident at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on August 5, 2025.

In his statement, K1 expressed regret over a misunderstanding that led to rumours he tried to board a flight with alcohol in his flask.

He strongly denied the claims, explaining that his flask only contained water because he suffers from chronic dehydration, which requires him to stay hydrated.

K1 clarified that the flask was empty during two security checks and was only filled with water in the airport lounge before he headed to the plane.

At the time of the incident, he had not yet boarded the aircraft.

He emphasized that he did not mean to break any airport rules or cause any embarrassment.

K1 extended his apologies to everyone involved, including the Presidency, the Ministry of Aviation, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, ValueJet, and his fans around the world.

“I truly apologize for any worry this incident may have caused. I’m committed to Nigeria and would never do anything to damage my reputation that I’ve built over the years,” he said.

K1 reaffirmed his dedication to promoting Nigerian culture and music across the globe and thanked those who supported him during this challenging time.
