Juventus have out-bidded Inter Milan to capture Torino’s defender, Gleison Bremer, on a five-year contract at Turin.
The Old Lady having sold Matthijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich entered into a railroaded pursuit for the defender who has been under the watch of Nerazzurri.
Bremer, last season for the Bull, soared in performance under the tutelage of Ivan Jurić as one of the defensive rocks in the Italian league which attracted the attention of Inter Milan to pencil the defender as Milan Skriniar’s replacement. The Trumpet Gathered
However, Bianconeri were much eager to secure a replacement for De Ligt using part of the fund from the Dutchman’s sale to seal a €50m deal with Torino.
Reportedly, the Old Lady paid an initial €41m for the defender with an extra €9m which is subjected to performance-related add-ons.

Inter Milan will have to look for an alternative for Skriniar, who is heavily linked with a move to join Parc des Princes, having lost out on Bremer who signed a contract worth €4m a season plus €1m on add-ons until 2027 at Turin.
The Bianconeri are amazed at the arrival of the 25-year-old Brazilian from Torino who according to them was impressive for Torino last season.
In a statement by the club to announce the arrival of the defensive marksman, they described him as one of the ‘best defenders in circulation which was confirmed by the MVP award from Legs Serie A as Best Defender for the season 2021-22’.
Furthermore, Juventus noted that ‘not only an exceptional man-marker, last season he was the player that made most interceptions, 105, in Europe’s top-five leagues, and the defender that recovered possession most often, 284 times, won 217 duels and 132 aerial challenges in the league’.
