Aviara Kingdom in Delta State has conferred the prestigious chieftaincy title of Olodi on Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas in recognition of his service and leadership.
The ceremony, held at the palace of the Ovie of Aviara in Aviara, saw the monarch, Michael Efeareduo Ebobo, bestow the honour on the senator amid a gathering of traditional rulers, political stakeholders, and community leaders.
The conferment highlights the senator’s role in the 10th National Assembly of Nigeria, where he has been credited with active representation, legislative contributions, and advocacy for the development of Delta South.
