WARRI – In a bid to ensure that there is effective coordination and seamless discharge of responsibilities, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas representing Delta South Senatorial District is to organize a retreat for his Legislative Aides in Emede, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Accordng to a statement signed by Michael P. Emumena, Senior Special Adviser(Media, Publicity/Information & National Orientation) to Senator Joel-Onowakpo, the strategic leadership retreat is in line with the Senators’ campaign promises to run an all inclusive representation, adding, “my Principal, Senator Joel-Onowakpo will continue to carry his constituents along in the discharge of the responsibilities before him.”
The strategic leadership retreat is scheduled to hold on Monday, July 15 2024, at Emede Town Hall , Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta State.
Emumena added, “as part of the fulfilment of his electoral promises to carry all interests along and in a bid to give a sense of belonging to constituents of Delta South Senatorial District who laboured tirelessly for the emergence of the current federal government, the Distinguished Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, has graciously approved the appointment of over181 constituents as Aides to assist his office to serve Delta South judiciously.“

He said that Senator Joel-Onowakpo is using the forthcoming strategic leadership retreat to bring the egg heads he has assembled to help deliver on his campaign promises and ensure that no part of his Constituency was left out in his robust plan.
The statement further added, “Senator Joel-Onowakpo seized this opportunity to express his appreciation to the people of Delta South Senatorial District in particular and Deltans in general for their support and encouragement since he came into the 10th National Assembly, which according to him has contributed in no small measure to the successes he has recorded so far”.
