Imo State has completed a state-of-the-art land information services centre at the state secretariat complex in Owerri, marking a significant milestone in Governor Hope Uzodimma’s commitment for effective land management.
The new facility is poised to transform land administration by offering a comprehensive suite of services to streamline processes, enhance transparency, and support sustainable land development in Imo State.
The centre will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of land ownership, transactions, and interests, ensuring seamless land registration.
It will provide access to land-related data, maps, and other critical information, enabling efficient land information management.
The centre will also verify the ownership and legitimacy of land titles, fostering trust in property transactions.
This is contained in a statement issued on Tuesday, by the governor’s Special Adviser on Public Enlightenment, Prince Ezeh Ugochukwu.

Furthermore, it will provide public access to land information and records, promoting transparency and accountability in land administration.
