AS Roma boss, Jose Mourinho, has been immortalised with a mural in Circo Massimo following the first UEFA tournament triumph by the Giallorossi.
Roma, after returning on Wednesday to Tirana, celebrated with the fans and supporters long into the night at Circo Massimo and continued on Thursday, in an open roof bus parade to showcase the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy.
Remarkably, an Italian artist, Harry Grab, in appreciation to acknowledge the feat the Portuguese gaffer has achieved for the club, designed a mural depicting him dressed as Julius Cesar holding aloft the trophy with a Roma badge as a shield.
After the win, Mourinho became the first manager in history to win UEFA titles with four different clubs and the third manager after Sir Alex Ferguson and Giovanni Trapattoni to win UEFA trophies in three consecutive decades.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, immediately after winning the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League, celebrating Roma players who were totally overwhelmed with their club’s first-ever major European triumph, gatecrashed into Mourinho’s post-match press conference.
