Tottenham ‘s new signing from Middleborough, Djed Spence, has said he will bring excitement, speed and skill to please the fans of the club.
The England U21 national team player said this after he completed a £20m move to join head coach Antonio Conte as his sixth signing in the summer this season.
According to reports from England, Tottenham made an initial offer of £12.5m with an additional £7.5m which will be paid as performance-related add-ons.
The player, who started his professional career at Fulham academy, becomes the sixth signing for Tottenham this summer after Ivan Perisic, Richarlison, Fraser Forster, Clement Lenglet and Yves Bissouma.
Spence said, “I bring excitement, skill, speed. I just want to excite the fans and play well.”
The 21-year-old last season played for Nottingham Forest on loan from Middlesbrough and was part of the squad that aided Forest’s promotion from the second tier to the Premier League.

He continued: “Last year was a great season, the stuff of dreams really.
“To play in the Premier League is a dream come true.
“I am just thankful that I have got here and I am going to get an opportunity to play in the Premier League at a big club like Tottenham,” Spence added.
