Former Nigeria Super Eagles coach, Augustine Eguavoen has debunked the rumour that the Ghanian Football Federation has offered him a two -year coaching contract.
Reacting to the rumor in an interview on Monday, Equavon disclosed that his contract with the NFF is still active.
Reports had surfaced last week that Equavon had been offered a 2 -year contract by the Ghana Football Association to serve as manager of the Black Stars.

The statement claimed that GFA’s President, Kurt Okraku on January 7, 2025, had signed a 2-year contract and that Equavon has met all the necessary requirements needed for him to secure the role.
