Nigerian artist Stanley Omah Didia, known as Omah Lay, has declared himself the greatest of his generation.
The singer from Rivers State made this statement on Thursday through X (formerly Twitter).
While the 28-year-old didn’t specify whether he was referring to music or another field, he did mention that while he currently lacks proof of his greatness, it will become apparent in the near future.
He stated: “hi guys! My name is Omah Lay and I am the greatest of my generation. I don’t have proof right now, but there will be a lot in the future. thanks. yours truly, boy alone.”
Since gaining recognition with his debut EP, ‘Get Layd‘, which featured popular songs like Bad Influence and Lo Lo, Omah Lay has established himself as one of Nigeria’s standout new generation music talents.

He is currently enjoying the success of his collaboration on Davido’s track ‘With You,’ which has reached 10 million views.
‘With You’ is part of Davido’s fifth studio album, 5ive, released on April 18, 2025, and is inspired by veteran artist Bright Chimezie’s song ‘Because of English.’
Davido, who released the official music video for the hit on June 18, recently shared on Instagram that the song is making waves, having reached 10 million views.
Alongside a photo of himself and Omah Lay, Davido wrote: “With You music video out here making history! Just hit 10 million views and counting.
“Me and my brother @omah_lay got the song of the summer 5 road for everyone soon on tour. Can’t wait to play it on the (tickets in bio).”
