Are you unemployed, underemployed, or running a small business and looking for a breakthrough? The National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP) has officially opened its 2025 Vocational Trades Portal, offering eligible Nigerians a chance to acquire in-demand skills, receive monthly stipends of ₦100,000, and access startup grants and business support, all for free.

NAPEP, Nigeria’s top anti-poverty initiative, is empowering thousands with vocational training, financial support, and employment opportunities across key sectors like ICT, tailoring, aluminium work, auto repair, and agriculture. This is your chance to build a better future, whether you want to learn a trade, grow a micro-business, or transition into the formal workforce.

By applying for the NAPEP program, successful applicants will enjoy:
Hands-on vocational training in trades such as tailoring, ICT, fashion design, auto repair, aluminium work, and more.

Monthly stipends of ₦100,000 to support your participation and learning process.

Internship and startup grants to help you launch or scale your business.

Micro-credit support with low or zero-interest loans for entrepreneurs.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for NAPEP’s 2025 empowerment program, you must:
Be a Nigerian citizen by birth

Possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN)

Be 18 years or older

Hold a minimum of O-Level certificate (WAEC/NECO/GCE)

Be unemployed, underemployed, or operating a micro-business

Show a clear interest in vocational skills or business development

How to Apply for NAPEP’s N100,000 Grant and Training
Follow these easy steps to secure your spot:
Step 1: Activate Your NIN
Ensure your National Identification Number is active and verifiable via the NIMC portal.
Step 2: Visit the Official NAPEP Portal
Head to the official NAPEP website: https://napep-gov.ng/login/ to access the online application form.

Step 3: Complete the Application Form
Provide accurate personal information including name, date of birth, state and LGA, educational background, and your preferred training or business focus.
Step 4: Upload Required Documents
Prepare and upload the following:
A valid government-issued ID (NIN slip, National ID, or Voter’s card)

Your O-Level certificate

A recent passport-sized photo

Step 5: Await Confirmation & Begin Your Journey
If selected, you’ll either begin vocational training or receive financial support for your business, depending on your chosen path.
