With ongoing global workforce challenges, Henkel Nigeria, a leading German multinational known for its WAW and Nittol detergents, has reiterated its dedication to prioritize employee well-being. This commitment involves a safe and healthy work environment.

The theme for this year’s World Health and Safety at Work Day: The Impacts on Occupational Safety and Health underscores the importance of proactive measures to safeguard the health of workers and forestall the severe impact of climate changes occasioned by adverse patterns on occupational safety and health risks.

President of Henkel Nigeria, Rajat Kapur, restated the company’s stance in continuously implementing routine health safety measures which will reduce occupational hazard of any kind within the working area and ultimately promote peace of mind for the entire workforce.

“At Henkel Nigeria, we take the wellbeing of our employees seriously. We are committed to ensuring that this is followed through with initiatives such as mental health awareness programs, ergonomic assessments, access to telemedicine services.

“Recently, we extended our dedication to creating a safe and healthy work environment for our staff by introducing new initiatives such as offering gym memberships to employees,” he said.

He further stated an organization is as a whole team together, hence the need to support the physical, mental, and emotional health of every member of our working system.
