Handball: Pillars, Defender Babes, others, record wins

Kano Pillars continue their dominance in Phase 1 of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League table with a 29-25 win over Tojemarine Academy at the Indoor Sports Hall, Package B, MKO Abiola National Stadium.

The defending champions of the male category, who recorded a work over against Kada Stars in yesterday’s matchday8 fixture, processed the duel with Tojemarine Academy, who lost 29-23 to Niger United, with utmost

In another matchday9 result, Benue Buffaloes conceded to a narrow 24-26 defeat by D:Defenders following an unfortuitous 16-17 loss to Police Marines on matchday8.

Results from the female category revealed that Benue Queens were battered by Defender Babes to a devastating 19-40 defeat, while Rima Queens got a workover (10-0) against Kada Queens.

Meanwhile, Seasider Babes shove off yesterday’s 27-36 loss to Defender Babes to defeat Adorable Angels 37-34, while Safety Babes mauled Bendel Dynamos 32-22.
